This document was designed as a ‘user-friendly’ guide for developing stakeholder involvement strategies within each of the Topsoil pilots, in particular if you want to involve non-technical experts or citizens, such as farmers or houseowners. The objective is not to provide a prescriptive approach but more to outline a set of principles and techniques which partners may wish to consider when designing their own approaches. This guide is adapted from previous guides produced for the Rivers Trust by Alex Inman consulting. It gives an overview of several participatory methods.
